KEY INFORMATION_
The Challenge _
Bedayati, an organization dedicated to providing training programs in the culinary and technology sectors, faced the challenge of ensuring continued access to its entrepreneurship training amid Lebanon’s volatile and uncertain conditions. At the time, the organization was delivering its “Entrepreneurship for the Culinary Industry” program through synchronous, face-to-face sessions supported by PowerPoint presentations. However, connectivity issues, participant availability, and inconsistent attendance created significant barriers, particularly for learners who were working or unable to commit to fixed session times. In one cycle, only 4 to 5 participants out of 16 followed through to pitch their business ideas.
To address this, Bedayati needed to transition to a self-paced online learning model that could provide learners with more flexibility, reduce dropout rates, and preserve the quality of the learning experience.
At the same time, Bedayati was aiming to:
- Future-proof its content and delivery formats
- Expand its reach to more learners across different contexts
- Enhance the sustainability of its programs.

The Solution_
To support Bedayati’s shift to online learning, Kashida collaborated closely with Bedayati’s subject matter experts to develop a targeted approach that meets both the organization’s goals and learners’ needs.
Together, we launched a one-hour, professionally produced online version of Bedayati’s Culinary Entrepreneurship Program.
Kashida provided capacity-building support for Bedayati’s SMEs, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to design and facilitate effective self-paced online content to be able to scale up and transform their content into digital learning experiences..
The existing face-to-face training on Entrepreneurship for the Culinary Industry was restructured into an accessible, self-paced course to improve flexibility, continuity, and learner engagement.
Through this collaborative effort, Bedayati is working to sustain and grow its impact, ensuring that its training remains accessible, relevant, and resilient in the face of ongoing external challenges.
The Results_
Although the course is still new and learner data is limited, early feedback from Bedayati has been overwhelmingly positive. The team commended the solution for its high production quality, ease of access, and alignment with the needs of their learners. They highlighted the value of making the course self-paced and interactive, noting that it provided practical, ready-to-use resources such as business plan templates and a business model canvas, tools that directly support learners in applying the training to real-world projects.
